Group Efficient Energy Management - GIMEL attached to the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Antioquia, the group conducts research, advisory and consulting oriented efficient energy management. It maintains a beneficial interaction with the energy sector and in general with regional and national productive sectors as well with the national system of science, technology and innovation. In addition to offering services in different areas: design, laboratory tests and trials, energy management and training courses.

Our story 

It was conceived in 1996 by the DSc. Germán Moreno Ospina and was one of the bases for the creation of the Master in Electrical Engineering from the University of Antioquia. Since 2008 to the present date, the group has achieved by Colciencias qualifying in the top category A1. In 2010 Knowledge and Engineering Services it was created S.A.S -CONOSER

Mission

GIMEL conducts research, advisory and consulting oriented scientific development and ownership and technological innovation, within an interdisciplinary work that aims for the efficient management of electrical and thermal energy, with a comprehensive and sustainable vision of the phenomena, and with a deep respect and concern for the environment, technical and social.

Vision

The GIMEL will be recognized by the high technical-scientific level to address the problems of efficient management of electrical and thermal energy, manifested in the contributions of their work research, innovation and development, consulting and training, they represent for the regional and national progress.
