Research internships
Outward exchanges
The International Scientific Cooperation area supports researchers from Universidad de Antioquia in establishing contacts for research internships abroad. Costs, processes, and rules will depend on the institution where the researchers plan to do the internships.
Inward exchanges
Researchers from institutions outside Colombia who are interested in doing research internships in Universidad de Antioquia must contact the International Scientific Cooperation area and send their CVs along with a summary of their research lines and interests. Having this information, the area will help researchers find and contact the suitable group for them. Once the terms are agreed upon, guest researchers will receive an invitation letter from the host group, which they must present in their migration procedures.
Keep in mind the following:
- For entry into the country, you must follow the visa and PIP procedures.
- The research internship has no tuition fees. However, room and board, transportation, visa application, and research costs, among other costs, are at the guest researcher’s expense.
